During lockdown, I started painting the local area. Indeed, it was the only place we had access too! It makes you look more closely at your surroundings and almost forces you to appreciate them more than you did previously. It's a positive of 2020.
The lovely people who live here commissioned me to paint their incredible home. They made a very generous donation to the North London Hospice following their virtual London Marathon (who knew that phrase could even exist!) They also donated to an orphange school in India - a place close their hearts.
Pay it forward...

Blast from the Past - Finchley edition
Funny how life can go round in spirals.
My latest house portrait reminds me of music, play dates and stick insects where my best primary school friend lived over 902 years ago! The painting is a gift from my friend to her parents who have now moved.
Turns out we are almost neighbours now. Spirals are lovely sometimes.
